Moon Flowers is an ongoing group of photographs about offerings that are made at full moon and other strategic times. They consist of flowers, seeds and leaves that occur seasonally in the garden and landscape as well as other significant objects suspended in a bowl of water.
Each item is selected deliberately but intuitively combined to commemorate an event, say a prayer, to create a portrait of the person or thing the offering is made on behalf of. The work creates a commemoration of the passing of time through the inherent seasonal changes of what grows as well as the different time and experiences of life.
